Leo x Tonatiuh Limited Print 11x14

This illustration is the first release in my Zodiac × Aztec Deities collection.

As a tattoo artist deeply inspired by my Mexican heritage, I wanted to create something that connected astrology with the strength, symbolism, and mythology of the Aztec world.

For Leo, I chose Tonatiuh, the Aztec Sun deity. Like Leo, Tonatiuh represents courage, leadership, vitality, confidence, and the life-giving power of the sun. Rather than creating a historical recreation, this piece is my artistic interpretation of how these two worlds can come together through black and grey illustration.

My goal is to honor both traditions in a respectful way while creating artwork that allows people to connect more deeply with their zodiac sign and appreciate the symbolism of Aztec culture through a modern artistic lens.

Every piece is hand drawn by me and created with the same attention to detail I bring to my tattoo work.
